The Ellijay Lions Club hosts a special dinner in honor of our outstanding Public Safety Personnel!

These personnel include our local law enforcement: The Ellijay Police Department; The East Ellijay Police Department; The Gilmer County Sheriff's Office and the Georgia State Patrol. Our local Emergency Management personnel, including our fire, ambulance and rescue squads and the 911 operators.

At this dinner, we recognize the outstanding efforts of these community minded people and we proudly sponsor the awards for Police Officer of the Year; Firefighter of the Year and EMT of the Year.
