The Special Friends are a group of "Friends" that are very special to the Lions Club's heart!

This group of challenged individuals enjoy the events planned by the Special Friends Team, headed up by Lion Emma Lou Stover. The team takes them to the movies and to the Shrine Circus, they plan birthday parties and host Christmas parties and have some sort of special day each month, generally the fourth Thursday of each month.
