LEOS Club: Leadership, Experience, Opportunity

The LEOS Club is a Lions-sponsored youth service organization for young people ages 12–18. Through community service and leadership development, LEOS members build skills that last a lifetime.

What Is a LEO Club?

LEO stands for Leadership, Experience, and Opportunity. LEO Clubs are sponsored by local Lions Clubs and give young people ages 12–18 a structured way to serve their communities, develop leadership skills, and connect with a worldwide network of volunteers. The Ellijay Lions Club is proud to support the formation of a LEO Club in Gilmer County. If you are a student, parent, or educator interested in getting one started, we would love to hear from you.

What LEOS Do

Community Service Projects

LEOS organize and participate in local service events — from food drives and park cleanups to holiday giving programs — making a direct difference in Gilmer County.

Leadership Development

Members run their own meetings, elect officers, and manage club projects, building the confidence and organizational skills they will use throughout their lives.

Partnership with Lions

LEOS work side by side with adult Lions Club members on established programs like Special Friends, White Christmas, and vision screenings.

Scholarship Opportunities

Active LEOS members gain a competitive edge for college scholarships, including those offered by the Ellijay Lions Club and Lions Clubs International Foundation.
